Dutch/Afrikaans I

Happy Saturday everyone! This week we will jump right into Dutch and Afrikaans! Dutch and Afrikaans are really very similar in terms of word usage, vocabulary, and spelling patterns, so it makes sense to do them together. Afrikaans is a daughter language of Dutch, and around 95% of Afrikaans vocabulary comes from Dutch.

Also, I would really appreciate it if you could help me achieve my goal of helping others around the world by providing them with clean and safe water, something most of us take for granted every day. I’ve attached a video below just to show how much clean water can mean to someone…please watch and click here to donate! This holiday season we can all make a difference by providing others with one of the best gifts in this world — water!

Thank you!
